We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2024, at the age of 78, Thelma Gene Turbyfield Johnson in Newnan, Georgia, born in Palmetto, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Brewster Turbyfield and Flossie Turbyfield. She is survived by: her husband Richard Johnson; her daughters, Wanda Bearden (Alan) and Connie Wade; her grandchildren, Matthew Bearden (Annie), Zachary Bearden, Felicia Wheeler, Barry Wade, Jr. (Autumn) and Crystal Wade; and her great grandchildren, Byron Bearden, Ethan Davidson, Connor Wheeler, Austin Wheeler, Aubrey Wade and Amos Wade.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, stjude.org/memorial.
