He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Reed and Annie Ruth Roberts Reed; his brother Earnest Levett Reed; and his niece Julie Ann of Washington. He is survived by: his sister Lorraine Hardnett; his nephew Jeffrey Hearn; his extended family, George, Ruby N. Harrison, Cathy Harrison, Lilly Pearl Smith, Evelen Martin, Juanita Hearn and Tyehena Hearn; and his close friends, Monica Daniel, Norman Williams, Freddy Billingslea, Bobby Roberts, Annie Evans and Demetrius Waters. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
