He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Messina and Felicia Valerio Messina; and his sister Mary Burgio. He is survived by: his wife Ann Messina; his children, Felcia Pulzone (Steve), Serena Leonard, Anthony Messina (Shannon) and Silvana Credidio (Mikey); and his grandchildren, Steve Pulzone, Jr. (Stephanie), Christina Leonard of Brian Leonard, A. J, Annabel Messina and Messina Credidio.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Sal's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 771 Roscoe Road, in Newnan.
