With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Stanford of Newnan, Georgia, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonso Paige and Mattie Lee Wimberly Paige; her children, James Collier, Andrew Stanford and Willie Stanford; and her siblings, Leonard Clark, James Paige, Wayne Paige, Pearl Willoughby (Daniel), Paige (Rosetta) and Larry Paige (Mary).
She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn Webb, Garnett Smith, Lydia Stanford, Michael Stanford, Theophilus Stanford, Ethel Sprowl (Tommy), Elizabeth Fluker (Jacob), Marie Bennett, Lynette Taylor (Tommy) and Naomi Bell (Melvin); and her sisters, Laura Bonner and Marilyn Best (Edward). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren cousins, nieces, nephews, and an abundance of friends.
