She was predeceased by: her parents, Lafayette F. Carter and Rubye Howard Carter; her husband Carlton James Owens; and her son Steven Carter Owens. She is survived by: her son Gregory J. Owens (Cindy); her sister Carol Martin; and her grandchildren, Chris Owens (Andrea), Katie Owens Ford (Jon), Steven Owens, Carter Owens, Wesley Owens (Casey) and Russell Owens (Victoria). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263).
