He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Davis; his wife Patricia O'Flynn Pattillo; his children, Catherine Pattillo (David Jefferson), Patrick Pattillo, Sheri Johnson, Mary Pattillo and Todd 'Speech Thomas (Yolanda); his grandchildren, Daniel (Rachel), Carolos Arriaga (Vicki), Camille, David Michael Jefferson, Van III, Benjamin Johnson, Jahi and Zoe Rene Thomas; his great grandchild Daniel Thiago Pattillo; his sisters-in-law, Liza Pattillo, Loretta Meadows and Marcia Jackson; his caregivers, Sheronda Suitt, Kim Mc Elreath, Beverly Kern, Soderia Rivera and Charlotte Jones; and also, Father Stephen Lyness, Father Henry Atem, Cathy, Fred Rook, Lois Jensen, Ann, Sal Messina, Elaine, Earl Behrens, Robert Himes, Michelle, Jim Gildemeyer, Sarah, Frank Clark and Dr. Pattillo. He is also survived by her family.
