He was predeceased by: his parents, C. V. "Shorty" Hendrix and Ollie Pearl Steele Hendrix; his wife Margie Moon Hendrix; his siblings, Patsy Hubbard and Johnny Hendrix; and his friend Judy Whitlock.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Betsill of Fayetteville, Rhonda Wehunt of Jackson, Paige Eddy of Franklin, Christopher Hendrix of Franklin, Douglas Hendrix of Grantville and Scott McDill of Newnan; and his siblings, Shirley Hornsby of Camden, SC, Joyce Johnson of Columbia, SC and James Hendrix of Newnan. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
