It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard H. Evans (Newnan, Georgia), born in Fairburn, Georgia, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William R. Evans and Beulah Odella Evans; his son Randall Craig Evans; and his brothers, James, Robert and Bobby Evans.

He is survived by : his wife Vickie Freeman Evans; his children, Denise McRae (Randy), Keith Evans (Dianne), Kevin Evans (Casey) and Darlene Evans; and his stepson Jason Freeman. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263).
