He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Evans and Beulah Odella Evans; his son Randall Craig Evans; and his brothers, James, Robert and Bobby Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Freeman Evans; his children, Denise McRae (Randy), Keith Evans (Dianne), Kevin Evans (Casey) and Darlene Evans; and his stepson Jason Freeman. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
