He is survived by: his son James "Jamie" Edward Minix (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Mickenzi Minix and Hunter Haygood; his great grandchildren, Johnny McCormick and Zoey McCormick; and his siblings, David Wayne Minx of Grantville, Mary Gladys Parrott of Fayetteville, Dorothy Mae Hunt of Newnan, Ellen Marie Minix of Turin, Nancy Faye Frederick of Pine Mountain and Hazel Michelle Brown of Grantville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
