Philip Larry Henson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Larry Henson of Newnan, Georgia, born in Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leonard Henson and Rosa Nell Penland Henson; and his grandson Philip Tyler Henson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Welborn Henson; his sons, Dean Henson (Amy) and Bart Henson (Amy); his sister Barbara Smith of Little Rock, AR; his grandchildren, Trevor Henson (Clayton), Peyton Henson (Kayla), Matt Henson (MaKaylee), Rebekah Graham (Josh) and Rachel Henson; and his great grandchildren, James Christopher Henson and Parker Grace Henson. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Rather than flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tyler Henson Scholarship Fund, in care of The Heritage School, 2093 Highway 29 North, Newnan, GA 30263.
