She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Vernon Staton and Virginia Eggleston Staton. She is survived by: her sons, Chad Staples (Cori), Mark Staples (Erin) and Sean Staples; her siblings, Jess Staton, Steve Staton, Lydia Morris, Becky Mundy and Beth Smith; her grandchildren, Emily, Katelyn, Samantha, Anna and Isaac; and her sister Burbage Smoak. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
