She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Alius Smith and Ruby Parker Smith; her husband Jerry Donald Stanford; and her brothers, Jerry Smith and Cecil Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Vinson, Linda Van Puymbrouck (Tom), Beverly Walls (Tony), Donna Duke, Lisa Wilson and Terri Baker; and her close friend Bella. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sisters.
