Martha W. Cowap Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha W. Cowap (Newnan, Georgia), who passed away on November 2, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Martha is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Martha's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryant Williams and Mildred Williams; her husband Thomas Andrew Cowap; her sister Linda Ransburg (Rick); and her stepgrandson Joel Crawford.

She is survived by: her daughter Becky Crawford (Larry); her stepgrandchildren, Tammie Richards (Ryan) and Christie Hayes (Scott); and her niece Cindy Bernisky (Bob). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren, her children and grandchildren, and Debbie Ransburg and her children and grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory (38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263).
