She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Hinkle and Francis Stanaford; her daughter Teresa Mize Hood; her former husband Gene Mize; her sister-in-law Jean Mincy Stanaford; and her niece Linda Stanaford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Mize Hose and Jeri Mize Maddox (Joe); and her brother Otis Lee Stanaford. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
