She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershal Hightower and Lucile Campbell Hightower; her sister Faye Jernigan Henry (Edward Hightower); her husband Jesse Murdock Hill; and her son Tom Hill.
She is survived by: her sons, David Ridgeway (Robyn) of Newnan, GA and Dr. Chris Hill (Barbara) of Huntsville, AL; her grandchildren, Jesse P. Hill of Frankenmuth, MI, Elizabeth Hill Straub (Jamie), Samantha Hill Tyler (Zach) of Huntsville, AL, James Hill of Huntsville, AL, Jackson Ridgeway of Crozet, VA and Conlan Ridgeway of Newnan, GA; her great grandchild Joseph Tyler; and her sister-in-law Joyce Hightower. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City (3738 US-431, Phenix City, AL 36867). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at the Lakeview Memory Gardens (4310 N AL-1, Phenix City, AL 36867).
