With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Squire Garrett of Newnan, Georgia, born in Manchester, Kentucky, who passed away on October 30, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulan Garrett and Ivory Benge Garrett; and his grandson Matthew Mullis. He is survived by: his wife Betty Eversole Garrett; his children, Jack Garrett (Lindsey), Carolyn Ragsdale (Paul) and James Garrett (Lynn); and his sister Lena Bundy. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
