We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2023, at the age of 82, Johnny George Merrill of Newnan, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Merrill and Anna Porter Merrill. He is survived by: his wife Martha Bolander Merrill; his children, Wesley D. Merrill (Elaine) of Commerce, GA, Amy L. Merrill of Newnan and Christine D. Knuckey (Peter) of New Zealand; and his grandchildren, Nathan T. Merrill of Commerce, Logan R. and TeHana M. Knuckey of New Zealand.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Lovejoy MUM Church.
