She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Carnes and Ruby Joyce Carnes; and her siblings, Dianne Lambert, Bobby Carnes and Beverly Cook.

She is survived by: her son Scott Becker (Dale) of Fayetteville; her close friend Dave Atkinson; her niece Melonie Speer; her great-nieces, Christina Douglas and Rachel Read; and also Larry Allen. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
