With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Wayne Simpson of Newnan, Georgia, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Harry W. Simpson; his stepfather Gerald Huddleston; and his siblings, Dorthy Luciano and Harry Huddleston. He is survived by: his wife Brenda German Simpson of Newnan, Georgia; his children, Carey Scoggins (Alan) of Newnan and John I. Simpson (Kristine) of Chattanooga, Tenn; his grandchildren, Sarah Scoggins, Anna Scoggins, Thomas Scoggins, Sylvia Simpson, Imogen Simpson and Winslow Simpson; his niece Lisa Luciano (Mark) of Atlanta; and his cousin Randy McDaniel (Sharon) of Newnan.
Rather than flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Gentiva Hospice 2525 Highway 34E.
