He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul Goodrum and Josephine Maddox Goodrum. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Steverson of Sheffield, Alabama.; his children, Elizabeth Terrell (Michael) of Newnan, Anne Miller Smith (Doug) of Atlanta, GA and John Paul Goodrum III (Laura) of Houston, TX; his sister Pam Evans (Barry) of Brentwood, TN; and his grandchildren, Jack Terrell, Corinne Terrell, Will Smith, Mary Louise Smith, Johnny Goodrum, George Goodrum, Eleanor Smith, James Goodrum and Michael Goodrum.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newnan First United Methodist Church (33 Greenville St, Newnan, GA 30263).
