She was predeceased by: her husband John Harold Whitten; her parents, Eugene Schloemer and Lucy Thompson Schloemer; her daughter Christy Lightcap; her brothers, John Schloemer and Landford Schloemer; and her grandson David Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Whitten of Newnan, Donald Whitten of Newnan, Ronald Whitten of Newnan, Regina Watson and Lucy Whitten of Newnan; her brother Kenneth Schloemer of Heard County; her grandchildren, Tim Kirkpatrick, John Whitten, Mack Murphy, Eugene Murphy, Brandon Murphy, Karen Gresham, Tiffany Lightcap, Michael Lightcap, Thomas Lightcap and Edwin Whitten; and her great grandchildren, Macy Sue Kirkpatrick, Ashley Whitten, Makenzie Whitten, Ellie Whitten and Lily Newman.
