He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Jackson and Minnie Lee Jackson; his wife Carolyn Geter; his son Corey Jackson; and his sisters, Willie Ann Wilkerson and Patricia Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya, LaWanda (Patrick) and James Marlon; his grandchildren, Jelissa, Tamarkus and Paris; his siblings, Lawrence Jackson (Carrie), Mary Lee Wilkes (Harold), Robert Lee (Marlene), John Frank (Deborah) and Arlena Jackson Morant; his in-laws, Jimmy Wilkerson, Willie Lee (Debra), Flo Amey, Cynthia, Willie Paul (Angela), Randy (Sandra), Mike (Audrey), Katie Glover (Jimmy), Wanda Spear (Lindell), John (Barbara), Beverly Cheaves (Kevin) and Clarance (Tomeka); and his close friend Willie Graham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sellers-Smith Funeral Home, Inc. (168 Greenville St S, Newnan, GA 30263). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
