He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Harrell and Thelma Irene Adkisson Harrell; his wife Janis; and his brothers, Thomas Andrew Harrell and Wendall Harrell.
He is survived by: his children, Wendell (Tonya), Vickie Smith, Tina Poore, Rachel Foster (Ray) and Pamela Schoentag (David); and his siblings, Joyce Marie Harrell Thrower and Jerry Harrell (Sue). He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
