He is survived by: his children, Paula Gordon of Bakersfield, Karen Carrasco of Bakersfield and James Tyson Jr. (Junie) of Bakersfield; his grandchildren, Jaron, Darrien, Braden, Haley, Ethan, Macey, Avery, Carson, James Tyson II and Benjamin; his great grandchild Chalayah; and his pet June.
