Gordon P. Ramsey Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon P. Ramsey (Newnan, Georgia), who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, James Verner Ramsey and Richard Duff Ramsey; and his parents, J. Haller Ramsey and Lorna Critchley Ramsey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lanier Ramsey; his children, Laura C. Ramsey (Edmund Bathelt) of Northbrook, IL, Thomas M. Ramsey (Rowena Saura) of Vienna, VA, John H. Ramsey II (Sue) of Natick, MA, F. Parker Ramsey (Faithe) of Long Beach, NY, Gardner Powell of Tucson, AZ, Jennifer Powell of Chattahoochee Hills, GA, Susanna Powell of Chattahoochee Hills, GA, Cabo San Lucas and Mexico; his grandchildren, Justin, Eden, Evan (Sarah), Gareth, Jack, Charlie, Anabel, Rebecca, James (Riyong), Claudia (Dylan), Jasmine, Piare, Noah, Will and Leslie (Juan); and his brothers, Philip Ramsey of Cocoa Beach, FL and Bruce C. Ramsey of Hamilton, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
