George Eugene McLendon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2023, at the age of 78, George Eugene McLendon of Newnan, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest C McLendon and Myra P. McLendon; and his brothers, Forrest McLendon, Jr. and B. Price Hayes. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Hammond and Bonnie-Sue McLendon; his sister Vivian; his half-sisters, Betty Jean Hall, Virginia Hayes Phillips, Patricia Brown, Kathy Landrum, Rochelle McLendon, Diane McLendon and Karen Dubois; his brother Charles McLendon; his grandchildren, Brandon Lane, Justin Hammond and Destinee Jones; and also, Marie Leverette, Kenneth Samples, Charles Leverette and Tim Leverette. He is also survived by many great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
