We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2023, at the age of 73, Evelyn Joan Folsom of Newnan, Georgia, born in Pollocksville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Nash Riggs and Vivian Hardy Riggs; her husband Jimmy Folsom; and her granddaughters, Jennifer Jones and Heaven McCoy.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela French (Doug) of New Bern, NC, Kimberly Hall (Tony) of Cartersville, GA, Nancy Folsom of Cartersville, GA and Ellis Hill (Melissa) of Roanoke, AL.; her sister Judy Crisp of Washington, NC; and her close friend Dale Smith. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice- Gentiva of Coweta County, GA. Contributions to this organization will support their compassionate care for individuals and families facing end-of-life situations.
