He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Scott and Camille Dowell Scott; and his wife Eleanor Wells Scott (Tinka). He is survived by: his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Mary Scott of Newnan, Georgia; his daughter Ellen; his son-in-law Charles Crosby of Sandy Springs, Georgia; his son David; his daughter-in-law Amy Scott of Sandy Springs, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Lubbe (Carl), Robert Crosby (Alex), Michael Crosby (Katherine), Kevin Scott, Megan Good (John), Joseph Lambert, Anna Huffman (Noah), Esther Lambert, Jesse Lambert and Naomi Lambert. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Good Samaritan Health Center, HopeWorks, and Mount Vernon Baptist Church, all of Atlanta, Georgia.
