It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Grady Gordon of Newnan, Georgia, born in Carrollton, Georgia, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Henry Grady Gordon; his wife Elizabeth Burks Gordon; his son Gregory Charles Gordon; his sister Mary Bradley Caswell; and his son-in-law Bob Sandlin.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Gordon Sandlin, Susan Gordon Minesinger (John) and Chip Gordon (Jo Ellen); his grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Sandlin Crews (Justin), Conner Minesinger (Haley), Laura Sandlin Horton (Burt), Carolyn Minesinger Stepp (Owen), Charles Minesinger (Kimberly), Katie Gordon Warden (Hunter), Abbie Gordon Montgomery (Andrew) and Walker Sandlin; his great grandchildren, Anna Kate Stepp, Charlie Stepp, Russell Crews, Sarah Stepp, Bentley Minesinger, Tripp Horton, Ellie Minesinger, Hannah Warden and Oliver Montgomery; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Burks and Betty Burks. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law and two sisters-in- law.
