It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Marie Leverette of Newnan, Georgia, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lee Waldrip and Cammie Mae Stephens Porterfield; her son Charles Michael Leverette (George Eugene McLendon); and her siblings, Shirley Waldrip and Jimmy Waldrip.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Lewis Samples (Christy) and Timothy Lee Leverette; her siblings, Jerry Waldrip (Debbie), Ray Waldrip and Martha Kelly; and her grandchildren, Payton Samples, Megan Samples, Isabella Samples, Jesse Samples, Ethan Leverette, Alisha Kelly, Briana Wood, Payton Meadows and McKenzie Meadows. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hillcrest Chapel (1 Bullsboro Dr, Newnan, GA 30263). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (96 Jefferson St, Newnan, GA 30263).
