With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Monk Rhea of Newnan, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert S. Monk and Helen Chavous Monk; and her husband John Rhea. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Watton (Rick), Bobbi Deling (Charles) and Christy Epperson (Brian); her grandchildren, Kelly Watton, Kyle Watton, Dylan Lannen, Austin Lannen (Kelly) and Autumn Brady (Anthony); her great grandchild Mason Lannen; and her grandchildren, Willow, Leigha and Clover Brady.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 2956 Sharpsburg McCollum Rd, Newnan, GA 30265.
