It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Louise Stanford (Newnan, Georgia), who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Winston and Ruby Marzell Herrin Jones; her siblings, Marvin Jones, Horace Jones, Peggy Jones McElwaney and James Jones; her grandparents, Willie, Birdie Phillips Jones, Monroe and Kate Williams Herrin; her husband Kenneth; and her daughter Kathy Elaine Stanford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Belinda Gail Stanford McEachern, Betty Faye Stanford Moore, Debra Kay Stanford Hogan and Susan Stanford Cooper (Glenn); her grandchildren, Amy Hogan Bessette (Michael), Stanford Moore (Patrick Brannon), Beth Moore, Troy Hogan (Leslie), Ken Cooper (Shana), Mitch McEachern (Marlena) and Chase Cooper (Amber); her great grandchildren, Kenzi Henry (Luke), Joseph Parker, Devin McEachern, Kaydon Cooper, Will Tant, Glover Cooper, Bryson Cooper, Ellington Hogan, Carson Hogan, Liam McEachern, Micah McEachern and Stormy Cooper; her siblings, Carl Jones (Gloria), Jerry Jones (Betty), Lynda Jones Smith (Jett) and Marzell Shadix (Jimmy); her son-in-law Reverend Glenn Cooper; and also Reverend Ken Norton.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Providence Baptist Church, Meals on Wheels, or Tanner Hospice.
