He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Strickland Eanes and William Joseph Eanes; his wife Jean Benefield Eanes; his brother Billy; his sister-in-law Lorene Eanes; his sister Jan; his brother-in-law Daniel "Chick" Reynolds; his niece Brenda Krochmal; and his granddaughter Kristen Rittenhouse.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jenny Krochmal, Ben Van Devender (Heather), Adrian Garson, Matt Eanes (Heather) and Jacob Adams (Haley Howell). He is also survived by his daughters and sons-in-law.
