She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Morgan Smith, Jr.; her parents, Robert Bryant Cooper, Sr. and Elizabeth Jane Griffith Cooper; and her siblings, William Cooper, Ansel Cooper, Charles Cooper, R. B. Cooper, Alvin Cooper and Margaret Bagwell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane S. Werner (Mark) of Sharpsburg and Joyce S. Bethay (Sam) of Walterboro; her brother Floyd Cooper of Greer; her grandchildren, Morgan Nettles, Bryant Nettles, Kevin Werner (Maria), Caroline Kantorczyk (Tyler) and Anne Cole Werner-Meyer (William); and her great grandchildren, Ty Kantorczyk, Jr., Cole Werner, Madilyn Kantorczyk, Lillian Werner and Isabella Werner.
