She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vernon and Mary Godbee of Virginia; her husband Sidney Albert Jenkins; her sister Mary Greenwell; her parents-in-law, Lonnie and Ruby Jenkins; and her brother-in-law Glen (Sarah Jenkins).
She is survived by: her daughters, Melonie (F. M. Burch) and Marsha (Gary Bland); her grandchildren, Hollie Pryor of Statesboro, Ginger and Josh Hughes of Lenoir, NC; her great grandchildren, Ethan Pryor, Luke Pryor, Ella Hughes, Elam Hughes and Emelia Hughes; her cousin Margaret Newton; and her caregivers, Maggie Gadson, Charlotte Kemp and Louise Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
