He was predeceased by: his parents, Josiah Morgan and Sarah McDaniel Morgan; his wife Evelyn Hinely Morgan; and his brothers, Howard Morgan and Wendell Morgan.
He is survived by: his children, Holly Morgan Scott (Will) of Sylvania, GA, Tanya Morgan Green (Mark) of Seattle, WA, Suzanne Beatty Proctor (Terry) of Rincon, GA and Michael Lee Beatty, Sr. (DeAnn) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Michael Lee Beatty, Jr. (Kate), Parker Austin Spivey (Caryen), Caroline Spivey Pevey (Screven), Isabella Green and Miles Green; and his siblings-in-law, Royce Hinely (Linda) and Nancy Mincey (Jimmie) of Pooler, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
