It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernell Baker Sanders (Newington, Georgia), who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Freddie Wilson; her former husband Joe Leonard Baker; and her brothers, James A. Wilson and Gene Wilson. She is survived by: her husband John William "Billy" Sanders; her children, Wayne Baker (Tonya) of Port Wentworth, GA, Joe Lee Baker (Lisa) of Sylvania, John Scott Sanders of Sylvania and Melissa Mason of Titusville, FL; and her grandchildren, Corey Baker of Port Wentworth, Joe Neal Baker of Port Wentworth, Tori Sanders of Newington, John Scott Sanders of Newington, Paige Smith of Newington and Geneva K. Stafford (James) of Savannah.
