It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lina Whitten of Newborn, Georgia, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wyatt and Blice Walton; her husband Berry Whitten Jr.; and her granddaughter Jena Faye Whitten. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Wayne Whitten, Mary Ann Filkins (Douglas) and Michael Berry Whitten (Angela); her grandchildren, April Logue (Stephen), Kitty Marie Whitten, Douglas Walker Whitten, Erica Morelock, Dustin Walton Whitten, Michael Berry Whitten II, Cody Beau Filkins and Samuel Alan Filkins; and her brother Sam Walton.
