He is survived by: his wife Elaine Perry Claxton; his children, Eddie Mack Claxton (Christina), Jeremy Claxton (April), Kristal Claxton Knox (Fred), Brad Smith (Barbie) and Summer Peters (Ryan); his grandchildren, Isabella Claxton, Emma Claxton, Monroe Knox, Mack Riley Knox, Johnny Mack Knox, Maci Ann Claxton, Andrew Grizich, Matthew Grizich, Zachery Grizich, Izzy Smith and Paxton Smith; and his siblings, Patsy Fields, John Claxton (Brenda), Bobby Claxton (Melissa) and Larry Claxton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
