He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Cleo Tootle and Myrtle McCorkle Tootle of Nevils; his wife Charlotte H. Tootle; his son David W. Tootle; and his siblings, Martha Burnsed and Edwin Tootle.
He is survived by: his son Mike; his daughters-in-law, Marsha Tootle of Kennesaw, GA and Trish Tootle of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Matt Tootle (Talette), Clint Tootle (Catherine), Lindsey Tootle and Eric Tootle; and his great grandchildren, Athan Tootle and Marley Tootle. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
