He is survived by: his wife Dr. Viola Mitchell Clay of Warner Robins, GA; his daughters, Akida Shephard (Cedric) of Fayetteville, GA and Ayisha Clay of Warner Robins, GA; his grandchildren, Joshua Rommell, Zion Walter and Anyaa Violette Shephard of Fayetteville, GA; his siblings, Greta Clay Landrum (Alvin), Karen Clay Calhoun (Rodney), Pamela Blankenship Hope (James), Carl Clay (May), Ashford Clay and Maurice Clay (Cheryl); and his sister-in-law Rosa Kelley Clay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
