He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ray and Frances Ray; his wife Brenda Chastain Ray; and his sister Patsy Howard. He is survived by: his children, LaSandra Cooley of Nelson and Jason; his daughter-in-law Nicole Ray of Jasper; and his grandchildren, Justin, Tracy Thacker of McDonough, Samantha, Josh Wilson of Talking Rock, Kevin, Danielle Cooley of Talking Rock, Jeremy Cooley of Hudson, Andrew, Alyssa Ray of Jasper, Kyle Ray of Jasper, Hunter Weldy of Jasper and Sara Beth Hall of Jasper. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
