He is survived by: his wife Mildred W. Garrett of Naylor, Georgia.; his children, Burke (Kim Garrett), Jil (John Branan), Michael "Slim" (April Garrett), Jon (Jennifer Garrett), Ben (Amanda Garrett), Jane (Patches Phillips), Elizabeth Garrett of Hahira and Sam Garrett (Ann Wing); his grandchildren, Matt Garrett (Braedon), Kenyon Branan, Steve Branan, John Hutchinson, Haley Garrett, Grant Garrett, Carli Garrett, Courtney Williams, Coleman Williams, Isabella Phillips, Garrett Phillips, Amber Garrett, Ava Garrett, Miles Garrett, Loa Garrett and Malcolm Garrett; and his brother Wayne Garrett of Longmont, Colorado..
