He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Lee (Simpson) and Russell Harry Wells Sr.; his grandparents, Mack, Emma Wells (Hill), Henry Briggs and Hattie Starling Simpson; and his brother Harry Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Emma Wells-Stewart of Valdosta, Georgia and Kenneth Wells Jr. (Heather) of Naylor, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kayla Price (Josh), Kasey Stewart, Dalton Wells, Briar Wells and Brooks Wells; his great grandchildren, Canaan Price and Sage Sorrell; his sister Jean Sheffield of Valdosta, Georgia; and his close friend Maryann Strickland of Bradenton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
