He was predeceased by: his parents, E. L. Corbett and Ruby Mae Peterson Corbett; his son Lil'Jim Corbett Jr. of Naylor, Georgia; his stepdaughter Lisa Conine of Lakeland, Georgia; his brother Billy Corbett of Lake Park, Georgia; and his nephew Adam Corbett of Lake Park, Georgia.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Corbett of Naylor, Georgia; his stepdaughter Tammy Conine Roe of Naylor, Georgia; and his siblings, Barbara Roebuck (James), Joann Padgett Corbett, Linda Hambrick (Tommy), Geraldine Corbett Allen, Emily Chadwick (Everett), Debbie McGauley (Jimmy), Judy Bennett (Tony) and Voniah "Pete" Corbett (Mary). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
