James Thomas Rountree Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, at the age of 87, James Thomas Rountree of Naylor, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lester Rountree, Sr. and Mary Lee Spells of Valdosta; his wife Geraldine "Jerry" Price Rountree; and his brother William Lester Rountree, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Horne of Remerton, GA, Donna McMillan of Valdosta and Tammy Hayes (Jeffery) of Adel; and his grandchildren, Rich McMillan (Ashley) of Naylor, Blake McMillan (Abby) of Lake Park, GA, Jamie Horne of Remerton and Heather Horne of Remerton. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Hope Baptist Church, P.O. Box 585, Lakeland, GA 31635 for the building fund.
