He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie "Bud" Connell and Inez Giddens Connell; his daughter Janet Diane Connell; and his sister Virginia Luke. He is survived by: his wife Faye Harnage Connell of Nashville; his son Steve Connell (Debra) of Nashville; his grandchildren, Thomas Connell of Valdosta, Valerie Connell of Valdosta and Mary Anne Black of Florida; and his great grandchildren, Lola, Thomas Korbin, Atlas and Devin.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Flat Creek Church.
