He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Parr and Velma Griner Parr; and his siblings, Marie Phillips, Ruth Cook, Gladys Cameron, Stella Griner, Saron Parr and J. W. Parr.
He is survived by: his wife Elnita Corbitt Parr of Nashville; and his daughter Sandy Burkett (Larry) of Valdosta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
