We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Smokey Day of Nashville, Georgia. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie E. Day and Naydell Jones Day; his wife Dorothy Dianne Garrison Day; his daughter Patricia Dianne Rudeseal; and his brothers, Bill Day and Tuten Day.

He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Missy" Keith (Scott) of Nashville and Joe Bob Day (Ronda) of Ray City; his sister Dorothy Piazza (Steve) of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Kaylee Day Kilpatrick, Chinna Addison, Karrie Day Carr, Dracey Keith and Rachel Keith; and his close friend Dachshund. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
