He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Marvin James and Elizabeth Jean Connell James. He is survived by: his children, Presley James of Marietta and Daniel James of Nashville; his siblings, Joni Tygart of Nashville and Tony James of Lithia Springs; his niece Mackie Stone (Taylor) of Nashville; and his nephew Jeff Tygart of Ray City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Langdale Hospice House.
